People love to hate Barry Bonds, people love to talk about Barry Bonds, he's a polarizing and controversial figure. Don't think ESPN gives him so much attention out of the goodness of their hearts. The media focuses on negativity to draw viewers. Why do you think Britney Spears is on every channel? It's not because of her singing abilities. ESPN simultaneously aired Barry's games so they could tear him down. I really think you should look at it from a realistic perspective. ESPN covers Barry Bonds so much because they’re in the business of drawing RATINGS. People love to hate Barry Bonds, people love to talk about Barry Bonds, he’s a polarizing and controversial figure.
