Sportaphile is late to the party on this one, mostly because on Monday nights, nothing comes before football. Dancing with the stars isn’t exactly high on the priority list. However, due to the fact that Floyd Mayweather makes great television, I guess i can add this onto the Tivo list. I’m sure he did this to cross promote his upcoming fight with Ricky Hatton, so maybe he’ll sneak a few quotables in here and there.

According to ESPN, if Floyd makes it to the end of the series, it would end just weeks before his fight with Ricky. I don’t think this is any kind of distraction, if anything the dancing will help him keep in shape (not that he needs it).

I’m no dance expert, but he did pretty good in my opinion. After viewing this I had to go look up his dance partner, who turns out to be Karina Smirnoff from Ukraine. Shes okay, but nothing compared to Scary Spice a.k.a. Melanie Brown a.k.a. Eddie Murphy’s crazy baby mama.
