I follow MMA casually and I’m far from a diehard fan, so perhaps I’m a little late on this one. Kimbo Slice is set to take on Tank Abbot on October 12th. As most of us know, Kimbo is the street fighter turned internet superstar by beating up various bums on YouTube. Now he’s in the process of transforming his bareknuckle brawling into trained Mixed Martial Arts aggression.

In his first MMA matchup, he mauled former boxer Ray Mercer, but now he’s facing a real cage fighter. Of course Tank is old, and well…. old. He’s as tough as a two dollar steak and poses a more legitimate threat to Kimbo.
