Criminal Fantasy League Update

October 10th, 2007 . by Dell

We have some quick updates thanks to our readers sending in stories….

Green Bay Packers linebacker Nick Barnett was officially charged with two counts of disorderly conduct, stemming from an altercation this summer. it doesn’t appear to be a serious case but it will count for two misdemeanors in the Criminal Fantasy League regardless. That’s 100 points.

Cincinnati Bengal Johnathan Joseph will be suspended for their next game against Kansas City for violating the leagues substance abuse policy. Joseph will have to come a hell of alot better if he wants to catch up with his criminally superior team mates. A one game suspension is childs play to someone like Chris Henry. This minor league discipline will count for 20 points in the fantasy league.

Nearly making the list was highly touted Indiana prep star Ben Mackey, who was charged with drug trafficking this week. After reviewing the rules, we only allow college and pro athletes to be included in the Criminal Fantasy League, so Mackey can’t contribute to the point total. Way to throw your career away though buddy!

Football has now re-claimed the lead in the standings, check em out:

1. Football – 420 Points (4 arrests)
2. Other Sports – 350 Points (1 steroid allegation, 1 positive test, 1 arrest)
3. Basketball – 100 Points (1 arrest)
4. Wrestling/Boxing/MMA – 100 Points (1 Positive Steroid Test)
5. NHL Hockey
6. Golf
7. Soccer
8. Tennis
9. Auto Sports
10. Baseball
