Roger Goodell: Say here boy, you reckon you thru buckin the system?
Pacman Jones: Yess’m boss, I’se doin real goods, no mo problems from da Pacman

Is anyone really surprised??… didn’t think so.

For those who were unaware, Tennessee Titans star cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones was eligible to be reinstated into the NFL this week, pending a meeting with commissioner Goodell. They met up last week, to reassess what’s happened in the last year to see if Pacman deserved to come back and ultimately Roger didn’t think it was a good idea. Jones will have to wait until opening day 2008 to see the field.

This was the NFL’s version of a parole hearing. Goodell had to ask the run of the mill questions knowing his mind was made up no matter what Pacman said.

But seriously though, Pacman wasn’t doing himself any favors making it rain at the TNA wrestling event recently. He’ll learn one day.
