Mercury Morris Talks Smack About The New England Patriots

November 15th, 2007 . by Dell

Is there anybody on TV more entertaining than ex NFL players these days? Just a few weeks after Mel Blount slayed the Baltimore Ravens on national television, this time it’s former Miami Dolphins safety Mercury Morris had a few comments about the New England Patriots.

Mercury’s 1972 Dolphins are the only team in NFL history to go undefeated, and he apparently doesn’t take too kindly to the Patriots closing in on his record. Trust me, watching the video is much more amusing than just reading the quote.

These old koots are tons of enjoyment.

“They’re comparing them to a 17-0 team? Well I think they’re 10 games short right now. They have ten more icebergs to go through in this Titanic trip they’re talking about. So far… nobody’s made across except us. So we’re over here docked waitin on ya.

I respect the Patriots if they do that, but right now they haven’t. Like I said, don’t call me when you’re in my town, call me when you’re on my block, and I see you movin you’re furniture in next door.”

This is just an old timers way of saying “get on my level hoe!”
