Russian Model Sues Oscar De La Hoya For $100 Million Dollars

Milana Dravnel filed a $100 million dollar lawsuit Thursday citing fraud, defamation and infliction of emotional distress. The crux of her argument seems to be that De La Hoya’s attorney muscled her into publicly recanting her story about the photos she leaked to the press. The public flip flopping caused most people to dismiss her and thus Dravnel’s “image has been tarnished, and [she] was portrayed as a liar to the press”.
Dravnel, a Russian immigrant, was De La Hoya’s mistress from January 2006 until May of this year. Strazzullo said De La Hoya ended the relationship with Dravnel because “he’s a married man who’s regarded very highly, with this perfect image.” Strazzullo claims De La Hoya became concerned because Dravnel took photos of him in women’s dress during a May 17 visit to the Ritz-Carlton in Philadelphia.
Isn’t it a shame Oscar doesn’t have any upcoming fights? You know when the boxers do a press conference and try their best to get under the other guy’s skin by talking smack? I’d love to see someone break out a giant photo of Oscar dressed in women’s clothing. The look on his face would be priceless.
I should’ve known this bitch wouldn’t take it lying down. What is it with those damn Russians? Their competitive little prideful people aren’t they? I love the way she’s suing him for “defamation of character” in the amount of $100 mill. This type of situation begs the question that if this really is a matter of principal, why not just sue the man for $10 in small claims court? If you win not only have you regained credibility but you’ve humiliated a perfectly good prize fighter publicly. When Dravnel filed her suit that pretty much destroyed any chance of me believing these pictures were actually him. Admittedly at first, I was semi-optimistic and thought to myself, he could be a cross dresser. Hell, get anyone drunk enough and their willing to do just about anything… Now I’ve got my doubts.
She should have stuck to being publicly recognized as a liar, then I could have entertained the idea that they paid her off to be silent. Furthermore that her story was actually plausible. Now I’ve got her categorized as just another beautiful Russian gold-digger. Its a shame she can’t be trusted. Oscar really looks terrible in those fishnets…
