Well, this is it. The very last training sessions before the megafight this Saturday. At this point the training seems more like something to do to keep themselves busy. Each man is ready to go, and kill time with busy work in the last 3 days….
Ricky Hatton is clearly in the best shape of his life, the man known for his weight troubles pulled out all the stops and looks like he’s in fantastic condition for Saturday’s match.
Oscar De La Hoya stopped by Hatton’s camp to give Ricky some pointers, and in a little twist, Oscar says Floyd’s dad gave him tips on how to beat Floyd. Floyd Sr. and Oscar seem to think when Jr. rolls his shoulders to avoid punishment he leaves himself open. Whether or not the tips actually mean anything is a moot point, but this is part of the reason a rift between father and son still exist.
The general consensus is that Mayweather won’t do anything to win the match aside from banking on the fact that his opponent will grow tired.
This was probably the least insightful episode of the 24/7 series because at this point all of the talking is done, all of the training is done, and it’s time to step in the ring.

24/7 has some good insights on the fighters but I think hbo is trying to make it look like an even fight but we all know hatton is not in f mayweather’s level talent wish and mentally not as strong.I personally think hatton will be beat up, beat down, knocked around, then knocked down and billy graham will throw in the towel.

I don’t believe mayweather has to match aggression, he just has to stay off of the ropes and it should be light work.
