Before we look forward, we must first look back… back to October 12th, 2007 when I posted this.

[The Mitchell Report] is exciting, I can’t wait to see who’s gonna feel the heat for taking performance enhancing drugs. I’m also interested to see if any of these “big names” will be scrutnized as much as Barry Bonds has. Especially if it’s someone like a Roger Clemens.

You can only imagine how hard I laughed when i saw Roger’s name scroll across the screen yesterday afternoon. I don’t have anything personal against Mr. Clemens, and I somewhat feel bad for the new situation that he’s in.

BUT

I want the media to rip him a new one, and FAST. I want the media to prove the cynics wrong. I want the media to dispel the commonly held belief among African Americans that a white baseball player wouldn’t be ripped to shreds the way Barry Bonds has if they were in the same situation. I want the media to do what they do best, be assholes, be ruthless, be irresponsible, “be a blogger“.

I didn’t watch much ESPN yesterday, but in the small bit I seen, I saw someone saying ” now lets not jump to conclusions, we don’t have any concrete proof to crucify these guys with”…. So things aren’t looking too good initially.

I want to see side by side photos of Roger Clemens in 1985 with photos from last year. I want to hear from disgruntled ex-friends of Roger. I want to hear from the sluts he’s been with in the last 10 years. Everything that’s been done to Barry….should be done to Roger.

Americans love the sight of blood, let the games begin.
