You’re absolutely right..either enforce the rule for all, or don’t, but you can’t have it both ways. If the players don’t run Gene “please massa please” Upshaw out and get real hard-nosed union representation and stop accepting being treated like well paid Mede the Mandingos, then they have no one to blame, but themselves. I’m certain the Falcons players were well aware of the fines beforehand and chose to support their teammate (props to em), but the NFL must fine everyone or no one.

On another note, I find it extremely funny that the so-called “fans” that are so up in arms over the MV7 eye patches and “Free Mike Vick” T-shirts are the same people who pay homage to their treasonous ancestors every year, join organizations devoted to honoring these war criminals and continue to holler about a flag that represents genocide….but yet, they have a problem with DHall and Alge openly supporting a friend??

I agree with you. I do not appreciate what Vick has done to the Falcons but I agree if you are going to have a rule it has to be the same across the board! Why was Chris Houston fined? I can’t find anything on that

It’s actually scary that some people think like this. You are so blinded by your hatred of Michael Vick that you can’t see that this is moreso about the NFL than him.

You also skipped over the part in my post that said Clinton Portis should NOT be fined.

If you want to write to the NFL, tell them to fine everyone the same or not at all. It’s a pretty simple and fair concept.

you have to understand that people are now being fined due to someones PERSONAL OPINION, not a rule. You really have to wrap your head around that one.

It’s like the cops seeing 2 people breaking into a bank, but only arrests one of them. When you ask him why he didn’t arrest the first guy the cops says “oh he needed the money, so i figured I’d let him go, thats different”.

The world doesn’t work like that. The NFL cannot play god with the rules.
