I’ve tried my best to ignore it all week, despite just about everyone else giving in to temptation. Jessica Simpson went to a Dallas Cowboys game and they happened to lose, BIG DEAL. I turn on ESPN and i see Merrill Hoge and his square head holding up a magazine with Jessica Simpson’s face on it, what in the hell is going on?

Trying to watch the Cowboys play football and ignoring Jessica is like trying to ignore that one mentally retarded kid next to you in the supermarket screaming at the top of his lungs. You can only pretend like nothing is happening for so long.

I’m only writing about this because today, Terrell Owens decided to publicly comment on Jessica, which means she’s NEVER going away. The media is gonna eat this up.

Simpson has become Public Enemy No. 1 among Dallas Cowboys fans because of a link being made between her appearance at Sunday’s game and the poor performance of her new boyfriend, quarterback Tony Romo.

“Right now, Jessica Simpson is not a fan favorite — in this locker room or in Texas Stadium,” Owens said Wednesday.

“With everything that has happened, obviously with the way Tony played and the comparison between her and Carrie Underwood, I think a lot of people feel she has taken his focus away,” Owens said, echoing the chatter on sports-talk radio and blogs. “Other than that, she was high on my list until last week.

“Oh, I got a message for her when we make the playoffs. Just stay tuned,” he added.

What have we done to deserve this?
