Yeah the Giants were lucky that the patriots played such a bad game. Brady’s passes were a mix between to long, to short, and just horrible.
His ankle messed him up baddly. I’ve been a patriots fan since I lived up there, so for about 8 years now. I don’t condone the cheating they did, but I sure as hell laugh when people say “Karmas a bitch” Puhleeze. Karmas the least of the patriots worries, and it sucks to see a perfect season ruined. Shulas gonna be shooting his fat mouth off now, like a little asshole, happy that a better team didn’t take his record. And it’ll happen at some point.
bitter much? The Pats had a few close calls during the regular season. The Giants nearly ruined the Pats perfect season in week 17, so I dont know why the Super Bowl win by the Giants should come as any surprise. The Giants played a hard fought game and came out victorious. It was great seeing their D-Line making crucial stops.
Was Tom Brady really injured? He looked like he was walking around fine to me. Even when he had the walking boot on, I felt like it was a gimmick all along. I’m glad the Patriots lost to the underdog Giants. Plaxico Burress played most of the season injured, a lot of players do. It’s all part of the game.
How can the Pats be a _better_ team than the 72 Dolphins? You can’t be considered a better team if you can’t win the big one. I really wish people would stop saying the Pats are the better team. Ummm no. The Lombardi trophy is going to New York. So today, tomorrow, next week, next year, in 50 years, the Giants will still be remembered as the better team this year, and the Pats will be “that team who _almost_ ran the table.” Too bad almost doesnt count.
Sure, they broke a lot of records on the way to the Super Bowl, but it really means nothing since they didn’t win the one that really mattered.
