I’ve decided to keep a running tally of two completely meaningless things during the Super Bowl to amuse myself. Much will be made of Peyton and Eli reaching the big game in back to back years, and also the fact that Eli reached the big game five years faster than his older brother. I fully expect the announce team to play this angle up, so I’ve taken it upon myself to keep a running tally.

I will edit this post every time Peyton Manning is referenced in the game. I will also edit this post each time a beer commercial airs.

I’m just gonna throw some predictions out there… I think Peyton Manning’s name will be uttered 11 times during the game, and I believe 17 beer commercials will air.

For the twelve people who are on their computers reading this instead of attending a super bowl party, feel free to drop comments.

Side Note: LOL@ Paula Abdul lip syncing in the Super Bowl pre game show. How can you be the judge of the biggest singing competition on earth and the turn around and lip sync your performances?
