Kathy Urbanski, the wife of the strip club security guard who is paralyzed as a result of Pacman Jones’ ‘make it rain’ riot, is accusing NFL commissioner Roger Goodell of lying.

According to Kathy, Darth Goodell gave her a phone call offering his condolences and financial support to pay for her husbands skyrocketing medical bills. Things seemed great, but she hasn’t heard from him since.

“Roger Goodell told me, ‘You don’t have to call us. We’ll get in touch with you,’” Kathy Urbanski recalled angrily. “Now I realize he meant, ‘Don’t call us, we’ll call you.’”

Silly rabbit, tricks are for kids. Did she honestly believe Roger Goodell was going to pay for a problem that he or the NFL had no liability for? For those of you who are unaware, there is an ongoing debate within the NFL on the subject of caring for retired players. There are a bunch of retired NFL vets who are so physically broken down that they can’t walk, and the NFL refuses to provide adequate medical coverage to help them.

If Roger won’t even take care of his own people, why do you think he’s going to shell out a bunch of money to somebody who has nothing to do with him?

Goodell has said the NFL was willing to participate in a fund-raiser to aid Tommy Urbanski - but things changed once the couple sued the NFL.
