Seems the Gasol trade set off a chain reaction in the West.  At this point NBA jerseys should have a removable name tag on the back a la Ocho Cinco.  There were two sets of trades before the 3p.m. trading deadline.  This one and this one. 

The first deal sends Bonzi Wells and Mike James to NO.  Paul needs more scorers around him.  That’s a good move on the Hornets part, although Bonzi Wells can go from 0 to 730 in 2.3 seconds.  Stock up on Prozac.  Serenity now!  Wooooosaaaah! 

The second move happened because Bron Bron was pissin and moanin about missing out on Kidd.  What the King wants the King gets.  You had to know the Cavs would move someone if for nothing more than to pacify the King.  So now Big Ben is a Cav after fantastically  underachieving legally stealing salary in the City of Wind.  The Cavs got the big end of the stick.  They dealt alot of dead weight, namely Larry Hughes and his non-j.  At this point in his “career”, Drew Gooden should live out of his suitcase.
