I have discussed the Jags choice in qb’s with GM James Harris, who also is on of the pioneering black qbs. And he said they just look for the best qb for their system. The Jags have also had black qb’s Lester Ricard and Roderick Robinson on their roster too. Jack Del Rio didn’t want to hear shit from the media and hick fans calling for the backup every 5 minutes so he just squashed that by having a full Black QB squad. Its genius. Think about it, the media never starts up a QB controversey with J-ville. They never say a freaking word.
