Madden’s mancrush and the loudmouth…who’s next?

Warren Sapp, one of the best talkers in the NFL, has decided to hang it up. Al Davis’ powers are growing stronger. Get Warren to step aside for….a youth movement? check. No one wants to play for the Raaaaaaaaaaaiders, except for Javon Walker.
A dominant defensive lineman and catalyst to the Buc’s Super Bowl victory has stepped away from the game. ‘Member when everyone was on Ronde Barber’s nuts because of all the INTs he got? We don’t hear his name much anymore. Those INTs were because of front four pressure, particularly from Sapp and Simeon Rice.
Oddly enough for all Sapp’s issues he never got into off-the-field problems. All his were on the field: pancaking Chad Clifton (blindside!) away from the play on an interception a few years back, bumping a ref in 2003, and gettin ejected on three straight penalties this season. Stank-0 forgot he dropped in the draft because of mary jane it was so long ago. Now the NFL wishes that mary jane was the substance it had to worry most about.
The NFL’s biggest mouth has walked away and the league is now a much much quieter place. Not sure if that’s goo d or bad.
