It was effectively Kobe and the King, but McGrady (who needs a new nickname) has put together an impressive resume.  The Rockets after losing CharMing were supposed to crumble, but they haven’t.  Eighteen straight!?  Recently, only the Lakers had a longer streak and that was during their 3-peat.  That’s all well and good Stank-0 hears the reader say but he’s 0-fer in the playoffs.  Which is true.  Stank-0 points to Dirk’s MVP last season.  Best record in the league and a first round flame out, so the precedent is there. 

McGrady is impossible to guard.  Too quick for the bigger defenders and too big for the smaller defenders.  McGrady looks like all arms and legs he’s so long.  When he rises for his j, blocking it is a hallucination.  He may be the best offensive player in the NBA right now. 

Basketball is a team game and his teammates are following his lead, especially the rook Landry.  Skip-to-my-Lou has finally morphed from an And1 novelty act into an NBA player and it’s showing.  Mt. Mutumbo still has life in those 40? year old legs.  Does anyone know how old Dikembe Mutumbo really is?  Stank-0 wants to see a notarized authentic birth certificate before his age is held as truth. 

Stank-0 only hopes the writers are at least paying attention to what McGrady is doing down Screwston, TX.  The MVP race is now a 3 man weave.  Let that marinate.
