Les Miles got PAID! Three million plus a year for 5 years! When you win a national title against overmatched competition, it’s only fair to re-up your paper.
This contract also has incentives, depending on team performance on the field and in the classroom. Translation: win more ’ships and you get more cake! Or graduate all those criminal justice majors and you get more fetti! Stank-0 is fairly certain if Miles fails to win a title but has a high graduation rate, he won’t get a new deal. Just call it a hunch.
Can we start callin Les, Money Miles? Just wonderin. There are some professional athletes that don’t clock that much a season.

They call LSU a football university, and no disrespect to you or anyone else who reads this, but they put the football part first far too much, often forgetting about the university part :-/ It’s still a great university though.
Ed, no offense taken. Stank-0 recently finished reading the book about Michael Oher where they mention that many football players at Ole Miss are criminal justice majors. That’s what the remark was about.
Ed, one thing Stank-0 learned is that college is a business, and football is a golden goose.
Of course it’s a business. Why else would they charge so many fees….
To pay the bball/fball coach’s salary! In the college’s defense, if the fball team is even marginally successful that can pay for alot of things the university needs.
