EliteXC’s debut on CBS will go down May31st, and the official title of the program is the oh-so-original “Saturday Night Fights”.

Kimbo Slice will fight an unnamed opponent, and (also known as Crush) from American Gladiators will also step into the ring. I believe Gladiators will be returning to NBC this summer, so Carano is going to be all over the place. Hopefully she doesn’t get her butt kicked, because that would sorta ruin the whole “tough gal” Gladiator shtick real quick.

Another slightly interesting thing about this May 31st date, is that it’s the very same night Zab Judah and Sugar Shane Mosley step into the ring for a huge fight. I’m not sure what time CBS plans on airing this MMA shingdig, but hopefully it won’t interfere with boxing. If I’m forced to choose between Kimbo and Zab/Mosley…. I’m going to watch the PPV instead.
