Some of you may have read an earlier post of mine about the abundance of black quarterbacks on the Jacksonville Jaguars roster. I pointed out that the last time a white man started for Jacksonville was 2003, and since then only 2 white quarterbacks have held a position on the roster (third string). At the time of that article, there were 3 black QB’s on the Jags, but now Quinn Gray is planning to leave according to ProFootball Talk.

So with only 2 African-American QB’s on the roster, who do you think they’ll fill the third position with? The leading candidate has to be Lester Ricard (also a black man), who served as the practice squad QB last year. Will they stop holdin ‘da white man down in Florida this year? Will they end the tyrannical discrimination and let a talented melanin lacking chap from the clean streets of Greenwich a chance to shine? Are Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, and Carson Palmer going to schedule sit-ins at Jacksonville lunch counters?

Only time will tell…. no justice… no peace!
