Video: Mike Tyson’s E:60 Interview

April 30th, 2008 . by admin

Tyson sat down with Jeremy Schaap of ESPN for an interview and discussed his newfound sobriety, his old career, and his loyal fans. It’s good to see him off of drugs (which is probably the reason he’s gained weight), but he still doesn’t seem completely happy. But then again, when you’ve lived through 40 years of complete chaos, it’s going to take a while before you sort out the mess.

April 29th, 2008 . by Stankoniforous One

The Hart Trophy is the MVP award of the NHL.  The three finalists are

Calgary Flames right wing Jarome Iginla, Pittsburgh Penguins center Evgeni Malkin and Washington Capitals left wing Alex Ovechkin…

Now Stank-0 has just started watchin playoff hockey again so Stank-0 can’t speak on the merits of the other two, but AO has been written about before, here and here

Ovechkin was the leading goal scorer in the NHL.  Here’s hoping that the Capitals’ Ovechkin wins the Hart Trophy.

Karl Malone’s Son, Demetrius Bell, Reveals Inner Douche-ness Of His Dad

April 29th, 2008 . by admin

I’ve never liked Karl Malone, never-ever-ever…ever liked Karl Malone. The whole country good ole, cowboy boot-wearin, gun totin thing never really appealed with me. I rooted against the Utah Jazz every chance I got, and I loved seeing Michael Jordan stick a dagger in their heart during his final season. In fact, I still root against the Utah Jazz today because the residue of Karl Malone is still there.

This information provided by Demetrius Bell, Malone’s estranged son, makes it just a little bit easier to dislike him.

Bell was just drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the 2008 NFL draft and revealed he never met his Hall of Fame dad until his 18th birthday. Instead of greeting him with open arms, Malone seemed annoyed that he was contacted.

“At the time, Malone told Bell that, “It was too late for him to be his father and that Bell would ‘earn his money on his own,”‘ the NFL notes said. Malone could not be reached for comment. As for Bell, he’s happy to have made it this far on his own.

“Nothing against him, but I feel good at this time. If he would’ve been there, yeah, it would’ve been good. But if not, it’s even better,” said Bell, also the half brother of WNBA Detroit Shock forward Cheryl Ford. “Everything’s a plus right now.”

Demetrius Bell was already legally a grown man at the time they met, so I don’t understand why Malone would react the way he did. That’s 100% pure bitchmade behavior. Now I have to watch Karl letting Jordan steal the ball from him like a big oaf late in the 4th quarter to give this post a happy ending.

…… much better.

A Special Shout Out To Roger Clemens [R. Kelly Style]

April 29th, 2008 . by admin

Roger clemens pedobearFor those on the late bus (like me), it’s been revealed that Roger Clemens may have had an “inappropriate relationship” with country singer Mindy McCready while she was under the age of 18. Clemens denied any wrongdoing through his attorneys, but McCready told The New York Times “I cannot refute anything in the story,” from her home in Nashville, Tenn.

I never thought there would be a baseball player who would willingly trade places with Barry Bonds, but I’m sure Roger would GLADLY step into Barry’s oversized cranium nowadays.

In tribute to Roger… I want to dedicate a video from fellow “child aficionado” R. Kelly.. “Hairbraider”..

Bill Parcells Gave Jason Taylor The Cold, Pasty, Liver-Spotted Shoulder

April 28th, 2008 . by admin

In my last post, I gave the Dolphins front office a little props for possibly trading Jason Taylor so he could play for a team that competes. Well, according to this article in The Miami Herald, not everyone appears to be huge Taylor fans.

Jason stopped by the Dolphins facilities to visit team mates participating in voluntary workouts in between his tapings of Dancing with the stars, and got the cold shoulder from Bill Parcells.

“Taylor walked into a room where Parcells was watching tape, and Parcells ignored him. He looked at Taylor and went back to his work without saying a word.”

Taylor was reportedly “incensed” by the gesture.

I wouldn’t be worried too much if i were J.T., if Parcells really doesn’t like him, he’ll be traded sooner or later.
