Stank-0 got a hookup free ticket to last nights Capitals game against the Carolina Hurricanes.  From the bounce the action was furious, helping Stank-0 remember why he liked hockey.  The seats didn’t hurt either, 101, Row O.  Usually, Stank-0 is so far up in the nosebleeds that he brings binoculars to see the action. 

The Caps won 4-1, but Stank-0 left with 3 minutes and change in the 3rd period.  The game was a sellout and awash in a sea of red.  After AO, (Ovechkin needs a nickname suggestions?) wristed a shot where he wasn’t even looking, the crowd broke into chants of MVP! MVP!  It was beautiful. 

The Caps are now in contention for a playoff spot.  They started out the gate at a horrible pace, like the 49ers playin an early game on East Coast time. 

Ovechkin has 63 goals this season, insane numbers for someone so new to the grind. 

Hockey is a beautiful sport to watch, playing may be another matter.  Being there versus watching on TV (even on HD) is light-years apart.  The only downside is they are always trying to pump up the crowd.  Of course, there are some good hits.  None in this game though.
