Back in October, a pregnant Angela Nazario filed suit against Larry Fitzgerald seeking child support. (No idea how you can file for that before a baby is even born, but whatevs..) Larry didn’t deny the child was his, but wanted a paternity test done just in case.

Angela gave birth to Devin Nazario Fitzgerald on New Years day, and her mother has gone on record to say the kid definitely belongs to Larry. A Coconino County judge has issued an order confirming the child is his, so it looks like he went ahead and got the paternity test done.

The funny part about all this is how Larry and his father seemed pissed at the media about all of this commotion, moreso Larry’s dad.

Larry Fitzgerald Sr., or Grandpa as I’ve taken to calling him, did not return my call Wednesday seeking comment from Junior. Big Fitz has been angry because of the flippant column items regarding the paternity suit against the image-conscious Junior. A child out of wedlock is not something that sits well with Grandpa, who as a sports columnist for the Spokesman-Recorder turns a blind eye to the tabloid lifestyles led by many pro athletes.

Maybe they should have been looking out for his image before he did whatever he did that caused Angie to go file a lawsuit… I’m just sayin. Or maybe they’re salty because Fitz just signed a 4-year $40 million dollar contract in March.
