Bernard Hopkins had a very hard life, but was eventually able turn things around and become a hall of fame boxer. Hopkins had 7 siblings and only a mother to care for them (his father drank himself to death), and had to resort to robbing drug dealers to support himself. That’s hood.

Bernard Hopkins was stabbed in the chest (just inches from his heart) and spent 30 days in the hopsital. That’s hood.

Bernard Hopkins was sentenced to 18 years in jail and then had to witness his cell mate murdered in cold blood. He served 5 years in the penitentiary. That’s hood.

But you know what’s more hood than any of that? The fact that he’s filthy rich from boxing for the last 20 years and refuses to fix his grill. Bernard’s teeth looks like a kindergarten class craft project, each kid just got to put some glue on the end of a tooth and stuck it anywhere they damn well pleased.
