I’m going to an optimist and since Griffey’s name didn’t come up in the super roid report that he stayed clean. Yes I know, call me naive. But I WANT to believe that someone stayed clean throughout all this. And yes, I think the body breaking down is also a side effect of the roids, which maybe they didn’t agree with him. Griffey has a bit of that Jordan effect w/the media however. The fact they will not attack him because he’s never come across as the super a-hole that Barry has. So maybe he’s been protected a bit more because people don’t feel (or want) the need to head hunt Ken because he’s the “nice guy”.

I totally agree with all said It’s a shame that Jr.’s not receiving any hype surrounding his phenomenal achievement. The real Hall of Famer for this era
