I don’t watch the WNBA, and if ticket sales and TV ratings are any indication, you don’t watch the WNBA either. The league recognizes the problem they’re facing and have began offering fashion & makeup tips to the ladies.
My question for you guys is… does this reinforce the old notion that a woman can fix her hair, put on makeup, and push out her titties to get what she wants? Because thats definitely what it looks like to me.
Commissioner: I want money, I want ratings, you girls have got to do something to turn this league around!
Ladies: But we’re playing our hearts out! What more can we do??

Is depending on the looks of a WNBA player a wise decision? Candace Parker is hot…. but most of those chicks look like Wesley Snipes in Too Wong Foo…. If the WNBA can successfully raise interest based on looks, maybe the UFC should hold a spelling bee with the fighters before every competition. Or maybe the guys in the NBA can gain new fans by showing how faithful they are to their wives. Perhaps the WWE can put extra butts in the seats by doing steroid tests live on the air.

It’s a shame it’s come down to this. Basketball should be enough. Women playing sports is what it is. If you want to see beauty queens, watch those stupid pagents. I love watching WNBA, I just wish more men watched it for the sport and not to see who tha hottest chick is. Maybe then the fans would be able to see a few games.
the women on the wnba play their hearts out and they shouldnt have to be showing their breasts to get attension. And its true if u wnt to see hot chicks them watch pagent or your playboy shit because thats not what the wnba is about. its not about whos hotter its about whos the best player. alot of those women are pretty but just because the ass isnt hanging out u wnt give them the time of day. i love the wnba and i wnt stop watching it.
