Video: Michael Vick Dogfighting Documentary

August 25th, 2008 . by Dell

This is a pretty interesting watch, it chronicles how the entire case unfolded, from the very first clue to Michael Vick eventually pleading guilty. It’s amazing how one man getting pulled over for weed led to another man losing an $140 million dollar sports empire.

After serving a two year jail sentence, and losing every earthly possession, I hope he lands on his feet after he’s released.

Video: Stuart Scott Interviews Barack Obama

August 25th, 2008 . by Dell

Theres nothing particularly insightful about this interview, but there are clips of Scott and Obama playing one-on-one B-Ball interweaved in the segment. Stuart asks Obama a couple good questions, but for the most part the interview is forgettable.

This post on AOL Fanhouse (along with the comments) think Scott took it too easy on Obama, and also raised the question of ESPN being unfair by not interviewing John McCain.

I have to call BS, because Obama has a stronger reputation with sports and I just can’t see McCain doing any sort of physical activity with Bob Ley.

…The Time Lisa Leslie’s Weave Came Out During An Olympic Game…

August 24th, 2008 . by Dell

Why have I never heard about this moment? I was reading a post over at BlackCynic America and they detailed the fateful moment Ms. Leslie became separated from her faux ponytail. This happened in the Sydney 2000 Games, not the current Beijing games, but it’s still hilarious nonetheless.

I’ve never witnessed a more eloquently hilarious recap of Olympic disaster….read on:

Bob Costas confirmed it for me as he announced to the world that Lisa Leslie, from the United States, had just been separated from her ponytail.

Awww snappage!

No he didn’t just put her out there like that! Then the cameras closed in on Lisa and, yep, she was sans the yaki! She looked like she was the victim of an attempted scalping…..Now I was rivited to the screen.

But not only did Lisa Leslie play on, she saved the day by reaching down as she ran by the disconnected weavy tail, scooped it up and tossed it off the court with the grace of Brian Boitano picking up flowers off the frozen ice after a perfect skating program and the agility of a jungle cat. The tail landed on a cameraman on the sidelines who took the weave and showed it off to the audience as if he won THE PRICE IS RIGHT’s Showcase Showdown and the audience roared it’s approval

LMAO.

Video: Usain Bolt Wins Men’s 200m [New World Record 19.30s]

August 20th, 2008 . by Dell

I’m sad to report he broke Michael Johnson’s old world record…. I don’t have anything against Usain Bolt.. other than the fact that he’s not American.

Here’s a backup video, just in case.
