This probably isn’t the most cheerful Christmas story out there, but damn.. you guys have to read this post I found on Yahoo’s fantasy football board.

Guys I feel really bad. I was up against D. Williams with a huge lead. I would have been ok if he had only scored 3 TD’s, but his 4th TD caused me to lose the championship and in the process $23,500. It was money I couldn’t really afford to lose.

Anyway, when I told my wife about it, we got in a really big fight. (She thought I had only put in $1,000…not over $20,000.) Things got so heated that I hit her twice. I swear that I have NEVER done that before. She broke her jaw and has to spend Christmas in the hospital and is now asking for a divorce.

Does anyone have any advice for me on what to do? Something like this has NEVER EVER happened to me. I am devastated and just want to make things right. What should I do? Some of you must be in a similiar situation even if it’s not as bad.

I don’t condone domestic violence, but if you lose the championships because your opponents running back scored 4TDs, I can understand if you start punching the person nearest to you out of frustration. This is coming from a man who lost the championship last year by 1 point.

*in the very next post, he clarifies that he says “she broke her jaw” because it happened when her face hit the floor.
