I’m a bit late on this news but due to how important it could potentially be to boxing I have to speak on it.

David Haye made one of the ballsiest (some would say STUPID) moves in recent memory by signing away all the proceeds from a fight just to get a shot at heavyweight champ Wladimir Klitschko. Haye will NOT see any money from ticket sales, or TV revenues worldwide…. all that goes to Wlad. But thats not all…. if David Haye wins he is contractually obligated to grant a rematch and THEN fight Wladimir’s brother Vitaly.

One thing that is not clear is if he’s going to give up revenues in the rematch fights as well. While this move doesnt seem particularly smart, it’s the best thing that could have happened from the perspective of us fans. David Haye and Chris Arreola are the most exciting things in the division and they’re both hell bent on getting the Klitschkos out of the way.
