About Sportaphile
“So what’s this sideshow all about?”, you ask.
Simply put, we love sports to death, and felt there was a huge lack of sports related outlets on the web that express the same thoughts and views that we hold. Why do none of the guys in suits on TV say what I’m thinking? Where are all the websites that represent my point of view? …. and then Sportaphile was created.
One thing you won’t find on this website is bland regurgitation of sports news, we have opinions and love sharing them. We’re looking to create a spirited community of sports fans who don’t mind telling the world why they’re right.
If you don’t agree with something we write, feel free to drop a comment telling us why, that’s what this place is all about.

Favorite Sports Teams -I usually root for all Bay Area sports teams, I don’t prefer one over the other
Favorite Sports Figures -Dennis Rodman, Shaq, Terrell Owens, Mike Tyson, Floyd Mayweather
Favorite Sports Moment -There are so many.. any time Mike Tyson gets in front of a microphone is guaranteed greatness.
Most Painful Sports Moment - The 1992 NLCS ……This traumatized me and ruined my childhood, no kid should have to witness what happened in game 7 to their team. That was the one and only time I cried from a sporting event.
When I’m not on Sportaphile… – Watching movies (lots and lots), listening to music (lots and lots).
