Here’s the rundown. The league is comprised of ten teams, each team consists of past and present players of their respective sport. Yes, that includes retired players. So if Jim Brown gets caught flashing his wee-wee at a waitress, Football receives points. If Nolan Ryan gets caught jaywalking tomorrow, Baseball gets points. etc…
Coaches, Commissioners, and other executives of note also count.
Sportaphile won’t catch every story around, don’t hesitate to notify us if an athlete finds themselves in legal trouble. Email us at sportaphile@gmail.com or reply in our comment section.
Teams:
MLB Baseball (includes triple A)
NBA Basketball (includes NCAA)
NFL Football (includes NCAA, and Arena League)
NHL Hockey

Golf
Soccer
Tennis
Auto Sports
Other Sports (bowling, pool, fishing, competitive eating)
Point System
Our points will be divided into two sections, allegations, and formal charges.
Since athletes have the resources to make some legal troubles go away, allegations of criminal activity will count torwards our point system at a reduced amount. If an athlete is arrested and formally charged with a crime, a higher amount of points will be credited to his team.
There are some gray areas, such as Rodney Harrison receiving HGH but not being charged with a crime, Sportaphile will deal with such instances on a case by case basis.
