Just wanted to take a few moments to congratulate Ken Griffey Jr. on the impending trade to the Chicago White Sox. He’s had many hard injury filled losing seasons in his career, and now he can finally finish it with a legitimate playoff contender.

Between hitting his 600th career home run and being shipped to Chicago, I’d say 2008 hasn’t been that bad of a year for Griff. If the Oakland A’s don’t make the postseason, I’ll be rooting for Ozzie and Ken.
