I remember seeing this play yesterday while stuffing my mouth full of macaroni & cheese and I WOULD have laughed harder than I didn’t have a mouth full of food. Lendale White ripped off a pretty big run, and as he got up he let out a huge taunting laugh..aimed at the Detroit Lion secondary.
“AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! YOU WEAK ASS NIGGAS!!!!!”

I caught this excellent post over on Sports On My Mind that asks why ESPN purposely decided not to cover a story that paints Brett Favre in a bad light. In case you aren’t familiar with the news this week, Favre has been accused of calling the Detroit Lions coaches and giving them insider info about the Green Bay Packers offense.
Instead of putting the story on their site immediately like they do with everything else, ESPN didn’t bother covering it.
Just to give you a frame of reference, SOMM says ESPN has posted 24 Pacman Jones stories this week. Hell, they even had a story about Marcus Vick’s legal troubles…. talk about scraping the bottom of the barrell for material.
Why is ESPN protecting Favre?
Has the story not been included just because FOX’s Jay Glazer broke the news?
Everyone knows Matt Millen was an atrocious general manager, so his firing came of no surprise to any football fans. The sick bastards good folks at Tirico Suave created a hilarious farewell video to Millen containing bits and pieces from movies like American Psycho and Billy Madison.
Caleb Campbell was just months from a life of sitting on the bench by day, and scoring trickle down coochie from Calvin Johnson by night as a member of the Detroit Lions.
But now he has a pretty good chance of being sent to Afghanistan or Iraq on behalf of the U.S. Army. Campbell attended West Point Military Academy and was picked by the Lions in the seventh round of the NFL draft in April. Before entering the NFL draft he was told that he’d be able to serve as a military recruiter while simultaneously living his football dreams, but a policy change by the Department Of Defense changed everything.
In a letter to Lions president Matt Millen dated Wednesday, U.S. Army Lt. Col. Jonathan P. Liba wrote that Campbell has been ordered to give up professional football for “full-time traditional military duties.”
Campbell will be able to request a release from active military duty in 2010 (and we all know how NFL teams just LOVE 7th round draft picks that haven’t played in two years).
This is probably the most screwed story I’ve heard all week, is the armed forces THAT strapped for soldiers that they need to pull people out of the NFL? Maybe the tried and true method of trolling for young black & latinos men in the hood is becoming ineffective.
