Hines Ward ain’t scared of no stinkin bounty, this man blindsides defensive backs for lunch and goes home to nail Palin for dinner.
This Ravens/Steelers matchup is going to be EPIC. Hines Ward took a cheap shot on Ed Reed in their first matchup, then there was heavy controversy at the end of their second matchup…. now they meet again in Pittsburgh for the right to go to the Super Bowl.
ESPN ran one of their Sports Nation polls to determine the best franchise players of all-time for each team. For instance, Dan Marino would be considered the best Dolphin ever, Walter Payton would be the best Chicago Bear ever…etc etc.
When the results came back, everything was fine and well until we get to the Baltimore Ravens. Their kicker Matt Stover was voted as the best Raven in the entire history of the franchise….. Are you kidding me???
What happened to Ray Lewis? The sure-fire first ballot Hall Of Fame linebacker who willed them to a Super Bowl win in 2000? Is this some sort of joke? Did the good folks over at SomethingAwful.com pull a fast one?
This picture from the premiere party for Madden 2009 features ex-cover boys for the popular video game (minus Michael Vick, because he’s sorta busy right now).
Daunte Culpepper is freaking HUGE.
Look how big Daunte is compared to Ray Lewis, who will go down as one of the most fearsome linebackers to ever play the game. Daunte looks like he ties Ray’s shoes before he leaves the house every morning. Quarterbacks just arent’ supposed to be that damned big, it’s amazing he doesn’t have a job (yeah yeah I know, quarterbacking isn’t about how big you are).
